Join us during the spring break for a weekend of dino-fun. Handle amazing dinosaur fossils from around the world. Handle fossils from the museum’s collection, which are millions of years old. Bring your own fossils for identification by our expert. Make and take home a dino-tastic creation, and have the chance to meet a costumed interpreter in the role of Mary Anning, who was one of the earliest fossil collectors. Find out about her life and how she found the first complete skeleton of an ichthyosaur (Jurassic sea creature). The character of Mary Anning appears courtesy of the Natural History Museum.
£1 per child. Drop-in.
